It is a little expensive for me. I am on Social Security and maybe they could make a bigger bag with a little bit of a discount maybe a 4pound bag.

I like that it is made in Canada. My dog loves it!

My labrador wasn't eating his kibble lately, decided to try this as a topper and he loved it right away and ate the kibble too. I got beef as I believe he has a chicken and probably poultry allergy. Its pretty expensive but quality.

Air dried dog food is gaining in popularity (there used to be only one brand that made it, now there's more), and if you aren't familiar, it's a great option. The process preserves the food so that it is shelf stable and free of pathogens, while retaining all the nutritional value - and all of that with no need to use chemical preservatives, filler ingredients, etc. So you get excellent quality, nutritious food in an easy to use form. And the dogs love it, because it's darned near pure meat. Of course, the downside to it is that it's pricier than other foods that are mass produced with fillers and the like, and can be expensive to feed, especially if you have large dogs.

Personally, I love to use air dried foods as training treats - they are a high value, healthy treat. They are cut down into small pieces that can be broken down into even smaller pieces if desired (without crumbling). Or they can be used as a food topper to supplement the primary food with some extra nutrition.

Anyway... I didn't taste these myself (lol), but based on observation I've found them to be on par with other air dried foods I've given to my dogs, and my dogs have submitted their review of 2 paws up (which converts to 5 stars on a human scale).

My dog loves this food. It is raw meat air dried with other healthy ingredients. I actually use it as a topper on his kibble. Most times he leaves his kibble and eats only the air dried food.
